Thailand - Bangkok

Thailand, we like!
Have to say it's a relief to be out of India. We so DO NOT miss that place.
Last night though, you wont believe what happened, we were standing in the queue for economy class passangers, when Cathay Pacific representitive came up to us and with a down tone voice offered us an upgrade up to business class. At first our reaction was at first, so how much does it cost, how much tip do you want? But NO!! For the first time in India we got something for FREE!!! Unbelievable.
Oh oh, you must try it sometime if you havent already tried it, cocktails, beer, linen napkins....NO plastic in sight. The seats were spacious, and even had foot rests for our comfort. David and I were sitting there with all the luxury, both thinking that we deserved it for all the hassle that we had gone through in India!
9 a.m. we arrived in Bangkok. The tourist office was the first stop in the airport. And can you believe it.. FREE information!! The girl behind the desk gave us good advise, and it didn't cost us a penny, can you believe it?? We have been in Thailand for a couple of hours so far, and already we love it more than India, and this is only Bangkok!
Our plan is to stay here for one night, and tomorrow morning we are going trekking in Ratchaburi. This will take 2 nights and a 3 days, we are also heading to a tiger temple, museums, waterfalls and bamboo water rafting. We just can't wait, we are going to PET TIGERS!!!!!!

Today we went for a little stroll in busy Bangkok, everything is cheap, clean and nothing at all like India. Sorry, this is the last time we are going to mention India! We had lovely food and some refresshing showers, can you get anything better than this???? This is where the fun begins!!!!!
