Elefants, Tigers and fish masage

Early sunday morning we to go 2 ,5 hour drive north of Bangkok. Seriously, what i've seen so far of Thailand has been absolutely amazing!
We started the morning going to this World War 2 cemetery. Lots of gravestones of forigners who did here in thailand during the WW2.
Then we arrived to river Kway where we were going to stay the next 2 nights and 3 days. It was gorgeous, the restaurant was in this little house on the river, with the jungle around us! We had some lunch and then off we set to the Tigers Temple! Lots and lots of tigers! We got to pet all of them. I wasn't scared att all and gave them a big rub while they were taking pictures, David on the other side, was a bit scared, only putting his hand down very carefully on the tigers and gave the camera a cute smile.
There was lots of other animals in that budhist temple aswell, like this gorgeous cow with huge "dumbo" ears, camels, goats, dear and peacocks, all walking around together in the temple. It was amazing.
We went back to River Kway and dinner was served. After that we took a speedboat to where we were staying. Another house on the river with lots of little rooms in it, and they even had a "beer corner"!
We met lots of lovely people in our gruop and decided to have showers and then meet up in the beer corner, where we had a few too many beers! But we had a great time, sitting on the river in the floating "beer corner"...in the jungle!
Next morning i woke up with a headache so soar i couldn't even talk! 2 pamadol sorted it out eventually.
Next breakfast and then bamboo rafting down the river, now that was cool. we swam aswell along the bamboo "boat" and i saw a nice little sandy patch that i wanted to get up, but as i walked up the sand i could feel something going in my foot!
It was a big stine thet cut my foot and was now stuck. One of the guys got a stick with a thorne and dug it out. Still sore now! But i'll survive!
That day aswell we went elefant riding. Soo cool. we fed them and pet them.
Next day we went to 7 waterfalls, i could only get up to number 4 as my foot was really soar. But they were amazing. There was little fish in the waterfall that gave you a masage! yes! You just put your feet down the water and they will come and suck your feet. A really nice feeling actually. A lot of the other people didn't like it though.
We had a great time sliding down one of the waterfalls and swiming with the fish before we had to go back for the last meal of fried rice and then taking the mini bus back to bangkok.
So here we are now waiting for another bus to take us to "Koh Tao" an island on the east coast of Thailand. The bus leavs at 9 tonight and will arrive in Chumphon City at around 6 o'clock. and then we take a ferry to "Koh Tao"
So will write more from there!
We're having a BLAST!!!!

Angela & David
