It's raining it's pouring

5Th August
Never ending rain
_______________
The rain woke us up this morning again. The roof makes the rain sound like it's going to burst through and drench us! After writing a few postcards and David reading a few chapters from his book, the rain stopped and we decided to quickly run to get some breakfast before the rain would hunt us down.

Reading the newspaper about swine flu
____________
I'm sick! Soar throat, feverish.. feels like a flu! David didn't make me feel any better by reading the papers and out of the blue saying out loud "Oh my god, this swine flu is everywhere in Malaysia and the vaccine for it is not working" Mmm.. GREAT!
And there was a riot in Bangkoks airport, people with baseball bats, protesting against Thailands Prime Minister. Next page said that a Thai plane crashed into a watchtower in Koh Samui! Only the pilot died and a few passangers got hurt, but jesus, is death chasing us??
The funniest thing in the paper today must have been this:
Whiskey solves anything
The russians think anyway :)

After lunch we went back home, and just as we were beside our Guest House, the rain started lashing down again! So we were stuck inside for a few hours. We didn't mind at all as we were lying on the bed watching the storm outside! Ah, how romantic is that?!
When the rain stopped David couldn't hold it anymore. As I was in the shower, David ran outside to get 3 cans of duty free beer that he finished all in 30 minutes! "A man has got to do what a man has got to do"!
So this is the last evening in Langkawi, we've had a great time here. But our wings are going to rotten if we don't move on! :D
Vietnam is next on the list. We've got a long way before we get there though. A 1 hour ferry to Kuala Perlis, then a 6 hour long bus journey to Kuala Lumpur where we have to take monorails and buses to get to the airport. We will be in the airport around 11pm and have to sleep in the airport because our flight doesn't leave until 6am the next morning! Wehoo! What would travelling be without those long days huh??!
