Its Good to be Irish....sometimes!

2nd August

Me Irish bar, here we come!
______________

We started the day with a trip back to Kuah Town to pick up some supplies. We managed to get some duty free liquor in the form of Southern Comfort and some Martini and some mixers of course. We also managed to catch some sun tan before the evening set in. After that we had an apperitif in the room, before heading out for some dinner and more drinks. Somebody had recommended to go to 'Debbie's Place'. It is an Irish bar on Pantai Cenang, close to our accomodation. So away we went. On arrival there we were greeted with a big screaming ' WELCOME' from all the staff there. (We found out that night that it is there standard way to acknowledge people coming in and out of the bar). (Fun staff). David had a Guinness, just one though as its not the same drink when you are out of Ireland, and then we went on the lager. We started a tab in there and met a nice Welsh man called Justin, he was good craic. Also, had the pleasure of chating to some very young kids from Iraq, Sweden, Germany, and Korea too. (they were around 16 - 17 years old, but looked older in real life). We are still young too, and don't mind mixing it up once in a while.

So called Irish Family and Angela

(yes it looks like a guinness, but it doesn't taste like one)

When the bar closed we paid off the tab, a staggering 96 rinngit (€19), and we went on our merry way, looking for more adventures. We managed to find some people on the beach, a group of lads from various countries. They fed us Absolut Apple, and would not let us leave until the bottle was gone. We manged to get away after the last sip, and slept peacefully that night.
