Hong Kong Dining in Style

14th September

Welcome to a very new dining experience in Hong Kong. This is what we did for lunch today, we sat on a toilet seat and had food out of miniature bath tubs, bathroom sinks and toilet cisterns. (All hygenic of course, detol was used on all the surfaces before serving). It sure was something different, and after the really rough nights sleep in the prison cell which we call our room, it was a good humourous start to the day. It is reasonably priced and the food by no means tastes like shit.

And now for the most exciting part and the most realistic of all the treats that is served in "Modern Toilet Restaurant". It is the representation of human pooh, and boy did it taste good.

So that was fun, the place does exist, I am not taking the piss.........
Next, was a plan to take a scenic walk through the streets of Hong Kong. We had everything with us, like maps, camera, water. But one think you cannot predict is the weather. It was raining and the wind was picking up slightly. So we gave it a go, but only made it to the jade market and saw one 100 year old cinese temple and then, no more.

We took a MTR back to the guest house for a little while, before going out to eat and see the laser light show on the Avenue of Stars. However, that didn't work as typhoon #8 was very close by and everyone had gone home to prevent their homes from being flooded. So we had no choice but to eat and play Farmville on the computer. At least the internet worked, otherwise I think we would have went insane in the room.

Tomorrow promises to be more of the same weather so nobody knows what we can do for entertainment. Time will tell.
