Malaysia with Air Asia!

The silver dwarf!
Class!!

This morning was a power struggle, as every last night tends to be, especially when you are saying goodbye. Not to mention, if these friends like staying up late, listening to music, eating street meat, and washing it down with some fine lager.
Breakfast was served at 9 am, as we had to catch a taxi to the airport at 10 am. All travel went smoothly, despite a bit of bad weather turbulence in places. Arrived in Kuala Lumpur, well as with all low cost airlines, arrived somewhere close to Kuala Lumpur. Another hour on the bus in, and then the monorail to Bukit Bintang (The main shopping and hotel district).
Angela managed to get a picture with a silver dwarf on arrival to the street, and a few frinedly people tried to guide us to a reasonably priced hotel.
So our hotel search began. One thing we didn't expect is that it is high holiday season here in Malaysia, and especially for the weekends most of the hotels were fully booked. So we had an hour of searching, before we settled for a slightly higher priced hotel than planned, as we were wet with sweat, and wrecked!
The hotel street is packed with plastic chairs and low cost Malay street restaurants, so gets quiet lively at night. From wheelchair karaoke, to boy singers, looking for a quick buck! But one good thing is that it has a nice view of the Petrona Towers at night, so not too bad.
However, poor Angela, got another dose of the upset stomach. More severe version this time than before, so eating imodium tablets now. Painfull business! Still don't know what it was, as I am fine, and we seem to be on a similar diet, (well I do drink more beer, than Angela).

We got a view of the Patrona Towers! Weee
