Mossy Forest & Tea Plantations

14th July
We had an amazing day today.
Cameron Highlands is a beautiful and peaceful place.
First this morning we went to the Tea Plantations. Acres and acres of Tea-bushes up on the hills. We were a bit unlucky with the weather today as it was very cloudy, but still it was beautiful and took your breath away. David kept going around saying "Oh yes, The hills are REALLY alive". After some cool information about tea we headed of to the highest point in Cameron Highlands at 2031m or 6666ft above sea level. The view was stunning, the clouds touched the trees and it was like looking out of an airplane.

Then we were off to Mossy Forest. Believe it or not, but it was another lovely place. We had a short walk through the forest as we got some information about different plants and their medicinal uses. Our guide that helped us through the forest was definitely a tree hugger. He was so passionate about the forest and kept telling us over and over again that we should buy trees and plant them somewhere to keep our forests alive.
We got dropped off at Bringchang and 5 of us walked ourselves to the butterfly farm, which was about 4km uphill. Before entering we had some delicious corn on the cob. One of the guys we were walking with said. "The best spice is exercise" Which is so true though, because i kept saying, "I've never had a corn on the cob this tasty before"

Butterfly farm was ok, nothing too special, butterflys were beautiful though.
We got a lift back at the back of a truck, they were going so fast and we kept sliding along with the curves.
Over some Indian food served on a banana leaf we decided not to stay here another night. We are now going to Taman Negara to experience on of the worlds oldest jungles (130million years old) I already got my Crocs polished and ready! :D
