David and the chatty Cambodian story teller man!

Thailand, here we come for the second time. We were well rested by this morning and ready for the 9 hour journey. Sinh Tourist (Sinh Cafe) picked us up at the hotel, like they promised. But instead of bringing us to Bangkok, they brought us to a rival company (Capitol Travel) and swapped our tickets for theirs. Reason being of course that there was only two of us going to Bangkok and they didn't want to waste the petrol. However, as we paid $10 each for the trip, and Capitol Travel only cost $8, then everybody wins, apart from us. Ah well, on the way we were. While on the bus we started talking to a tour guide, who was travelling to the border to pick up a client. He was a nice man that spoke very good English, and boy did he have stories to tell aswell. The duration of the trip (2 hours), we were nearly in tears from the stories he told us. It was like reading a book, it had drama, passion and a somewhat nice endings, as we listened closely. Time passed quickly and we arrived at the border check in Poipet. Quick and easy we crossed to the otherside and we were back in Thailand.

On the bus we got talking to two Swedish people (Par and Mikaela), we had so much in common that we decided that a few beers were required after such a long journey, and plus they were only staying for one night. So thats where it begins, the food at the side of the street for very cheap, and tasty too. Then the meeting of Paul (from England), who also was leaving the next day. The beer Chang has done it again, it got us very drunk. It ends at 6 am with us saying good bye, while sitting on the steps of our guesthouse eating a hot dog from 7 eleven, and drinking coka cola. What a fun fun night.
