Arrived in Taman Negara yesterday. Back to the humid hot weather again!
First a 4 hour long bus drive and another 3 hour long boat ride through a river (and it was not a proper "big" boat, this was a small long tailed boat)

We're staying in a not so nice room, but hey, isn't this what the backpacking is all about? The walls are white so you can see all the cob webs and dead flies and mosquitos on the wall (and weird stains that you don't want to know what they are! But it's an ok room, i'm not going to complain more :)
We went on a night safari with a 4x4 jeep through a palm tree plantation. With me on the roof and david on the back of the truck. It was great fun actually. We saw a snake, some cool birds and 3 cat leopards
